As a Senior Backend Developer, you will

  • Be key in enhancing our application by developing and integrating robust features that meet the evolving needs of our growing user base.

  • Collaborate closely with engineers and business developers, contributing to a diverse array of new and existing features that define the experience of our platform across desktop and mobile use-cases.

  • Drive the continuous improvement of our application's architecture, maintaining high standards of performance and accessibility.

  • Implement and refine tools to enhance the developer experience, empowering the whole team in their work.

Who you are

  • A driven software engineer with 3-5+ years of experience and ready to meet new challenges head-on with a robust and evolving tech stack.

  • A proactive problem-solver, you’re passionate about both innovation and pragmatic solutions.

  • You’re curious and open-minded, continuously learning and eager to understand everything you’re working on

  • You thrive in teamwork and value collaboration, always ready to share insights and foster a learning environment.

  • You have successfully shipped and scaled web applications to accommodate rapid user growth.

Key qualifications

  • Solid understanding of modern web technologies and standards from the ground up, including HTTP, RESTful APIs, and web server frameworks.

  • Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable web-based applications.

  • Proficiency in database management and optimization.

  • Experience in configuring and managing infrastructure for deploying web applications at scale.

  • Competency in writing, maintaining, and deploying efficient and performant code.

  • Either a degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent industry experience.
