Intric has been selected as one of five AI partners in Ikomm AS’s new framework agreement, supporting 13 Norwegian municipalities with scalable, secure, and future-ready generative AI solutions. The agreement enables a structured and flexible approach to piloting, learning, and scaling AI across public services — with a strong focus on GDPR compliance, universal design, and the right model for each task. This marks a major step in Intric’s expanding role in strengthening digital capacity in the Norwegian public sector.

KB-Whisper, a Swedish speech-to-text model developed by the National Library of Sweden, is now live in Intric. This upgrade delivers far greater transcription accuracy in Swedish and highlights the value of Intric’s multi-model approach — giving public sector users the best model for every task. This widely requested feature was delivered fast as part of our international AI platform expansion.

At Almedalen 2024, I had the opportunity to speak on AI Sweden’s stage about how AI is no longer a luxury for the public sector — it's a necessity.
